Basic Functions
- Realizes higher fidelity sound reproduciton by employing our "Wide Bit Stream" technique.
- Equipped with a sampling rate converter to enable recording from satelite digital music broadcasts [32Khz], DAT, etc.
- Using the main unit's "Multi Jog Dial" or the remote control, the disc name, track name, etc. can be entered after the recording. Alphanumeric characters, symbols, as well as katakana input is possible.
- At "Air Check" time, when you are waiting to start recording [presumably when recording something live off the air with an indeterminate start time], if you push the Multi Jog Dial, audio from up to 6 seconds previous is recorded. This "Time Machine" function prevents the loss of the beginning of recorded material.
- Keyboard Remote Commander-[RM-D10P]
- A Remote Commander having a keyboard arrangement with a typewriter like feel that simplifies character input is available as an option for exclusive use with the MDS-503.
