Fix for Sony MZ-R55 Recording Self-start Problem

Problem:

Sony MZ-R55 units have been known to go into record mode while at idle and over-write unprotected MD.

Cause:

The signal pin attached to the record switch is at a "floating" state and sensitive to battery voltage level.

Solution:

Verify that the record switch is functioning properly (not sticky). Solder a small "surface mount type" capacitor (100 nf) between the signal pin of the record switch and ground. Refer to diagram attached for more details.
