MiniDisc Decks Equipment Notes

• If you don't see the unit you are looking for here, you might at least be able to check the ATRAC version number in the ATRAC version table.
• When considering a purchase, be aware of the effects that the ATRAC version has on sound quality, this is most important when considering recorders.

Definitions

• Coax in or out: terminals for digital coaxial input or output, not to be confused with line input or output terminals, which use the same type of RCA ``pin jack''.
• Line in or out: terminals for analog line level input or output signals.
• Optical in or out: terminals for digital optical input or output. On MD decks this is almost always a TOS-link cable connector.
