Supports DVD Video, CD, MD, Memory Stick, HDD, FM/AM playback.

Built in 20GB HDD supports ripping CD's using it's "music catcher" function. CDDB info can be updated to keep artist/track info available. While many music catcher devices support importing MD tracks to the built in Hard Drive, this unit apparently does not support that functionality according to av.watch.

This unit uses a different style of wire harness than the successor MAX950HD unit. From contacting Clarion support in the USA apparently the specs for the wire harness and the manuals for this unit were lost in some kind of fire, no PDF's have been found online and even Clarions Japan support site has nothing on it.
