Japan-exclusive bookshelf system. System unit is internally model USR-MS3 and bundled speakers are USC-MS3, with the D-MS3 designation referring to both the base unit and speakers.

The USB port does not support NetMD, and is instead used to listen to PC audio through the system. The system cannot record USB audio.

Advertises support for CD-RW discs. Supports worldwide FM bands, a rarity for many Japan-exclusive units. Dubs CD→MD at 4X.
