An MD deck that incorporates the high-quality sound technology cultivated in the S1 series and the development know-how of the commercial MD recorder DN-990R.
The ALPHA processing (Adaptive Line Pattern Harmonized Algorithm) which is an original analog waveform reproduction technology is carried, and the reduction of the quantization distortion is aimed at. With this technology, digital data recorded on MDs and CDs is used as a clue to interpolate the digital data, making it closer to the analog waveform before recording. This reproduces 16-bit data with 20-bit quality.
Two ultra-high precision 20-bit current addition type DACs are carried in the D / A conversion part. In addition, ΛS.LC (Lambda Super Linear Converter), which does not generate zero-cross distortion in principle, is used to reduce distortion and prevent unnecessary noise inflow due to circuit routing. Is integrated into one chip including the ALPHA processor.
The sampling rate converter is carried and it corresponds to the sampling frequency of 44.1kHz, 32kHz, 48kHz.
Equipped with a name input function, you can enter information such as title name, song name, artist name, etc. in alphabets (uppercase and lowercase), numbers, symbols, and katakana. In addition, data management of up to 100 characters is possible for each song. Data is written using the jog dial.
