The MZ907 is part of the 1998 “707” Head Unit series by Kenwood. It was the first Head Unit by Kenwood that managed to fit a MD and a CD drive into a Single Din space. It was the most experience unit Kenwood was building at the time. It is a good option for people that lack space for a Doulbe Din head unit, but still want to enjoy both formats. Compatible DSP units from the same series are the X707 and the D707. These units allowed for more visuals, different DSP presets and 11 Band EQ settings. In combination with the X707, the MZ907 was able to play MD, CD and Cassette.
