MDLP compatible 3+1 MD Auto Changer slave unit. Equipped with a nine-pattern/11 band spectrum analyzer and Disc/Track title display function. The RJ-480 needs to be connected to the main head unit, using the 13 Pin terminal at the back. Up to 12 CDs can be stocked when LP recording is used, allowing non-stop continuous playback. A 4th MD can also be inserted into the unit, for a total of 16 CD's worth of audio when recorded in LP4 mode, however with the 4th disc inserted the RJ-480 acts in a player only mode. The 4th disc must be removed in order to activate the changer functions. In modes other than MD, the speaker output is used to feed the spectrum analyzer.
