This unit has a long and twisted story attached to it. Something about a company (Sotec?) buying up components and building thousands of PC's only to be unable to sell them, partnering with another firm which stuffed the components into a PC/AV unit case. The DM-VH7PC manual with the Kenwood logo is on the Onkyo site. And Onkyo also has Pioneer brand (AV equipment). Mentioned here
