The Onkyo MD-133 has the unusual honour of being the first Hi-MD component ever released. Part of Onkyo’s INTEC 275 range, it combines gracefully with Onkyo’s other INTEC 275 components to form a mini component Hi-Fi system, integration with RI serial interface. Manufactured since 2005 to 2011 at least.

DSP is Sony CXD2687-001GG (combined ATRAC/servo and microcontroller) for models after 2006/2007, and Sony CXD2686-223GG for early issued.
