Mazda RX-7 FD3S minidisc component to the F146-66-AS0 main tuner / CD unit. Production start 2000/09. The MD module could work with other radios for cars like the MPV. This CD/MD/Radio combo maintains strong resale value often finishing above 22,750yen.
Given that the master unit was made by Matsushita/Panasonic, it follows that the sub unit would also be made by the same company who made many auto md units.
The part is marked discontinued for US market dealers and had an MSRP of $1533.46 with a dealer cost of $919.89 on 05-2023
However on Japanese websites (which presumably source from the Japanese dealer network) it had a sales price of $519.06 it had a sales price of $519.06 (MiniDisc Wiki mirror). It was not market as used or refurbished so presumably it is a new OEM part with a discount from MSRP while being above dealer cost.
