Sharp MD-K601-A (blue).
Exact release date unknown. The model# definitely exists (see packaging pics below) but no mention can be found in Sharp press releases. The history of portables page theorizes that this could have been a foreign market device (HK/China?). They do appear on Yahoo Auctions in Japan though.
