"LCD edge light" "light sign" function that illuminates high-brightness LED when charging or operating
Comes with a charging stand that can be easily charged just by placing the main unit, just like a mobile phone. The refresh (discharge) circuit built into the main unit and charging stand detects the accumulation of the "memory effect" generated by the nickel-metal hydride rechargeable battery and automatically refreshes (discharges). You can recharge with confidence while the battery capacity remains.

Uses a new ultra-thin and high-performance pickup equipped with a new hologram laser. ATRAC's LSI, which can be said to be the heart of MD, adopts a newly developed 7th generation LSI of low power consumption type with a 0.25 μm process product using the latest technology. In addition to reducing system power consumption by rotating the disc at high speed, the pickup and mechanical power saving design have been achieved to achieve long-time recording and long-time playback. ・ By using a nickel-metal hydride rechargeable battery and one AA battery together, long-term continuous recording of about 15.5 hours / long-term continuous playback of about 30 hours is possible. In addition, even with a single rechargeable battery, recording for about 6.5 hours / playback for about 12 hours has been achieved. ・ Due to the low voltage design, it can be driven by a single high-capacity alkaline AA battery (1.5V), and can record for about 6 hours and play for about 18 hours.
Supports Kanji display remote control (Kanji display remote control sold separately) ・ If you connect the separately sold remote controller for displaying Chinese characters (AD-S53RM), you can display the character information of the disc in which Chinese characters and hiragana are input.
