The MD component of the DHC-MD1 system. Since 1993, pixies equipped with MD decks have been called "MD pixies." The first letter of the model number has been changed from MHC (Mini Hi-Fi Component) to DHC from MD pixy. DHC is an abbreviation for Digital Hi-Fi Component.
