The included LCD remote (RM-MZ35) and its variant that shipped with the MZ-R50 (RM-MZR50) were the first MD Walkman LCD remotes to use the "stick controller" design that became ubiquitous moving forward.
Mega Bass and AVLS controls located on the back of the device, rest are on the edge. Can take a gumstick or AA battery in the internal compartment. 4.5 hours (gumstick) or 6 hours (AA) battery life.
