MZ-E40 was the domestic (US) name, was relabeled the MZ-E20 for global release (also shipped without an AC Adapter in EU/Canada). Some users reported overheating issues if using an AC adapter to recharge the battery pack during playback.
Can run on normal alkaline AAs as well as Eneloops.
