Update:
Tascam declared the MD-301mkII has ATRAC 4.5
That's not true, most of sold MD-301mkII still use old ATRAC 4.0 drive with CXD2652AR.
Only initially Teac Japan manufactured limited series of the device have Sony Atrac 4.5. Most MD-301MkII, Chinese manufactured, do have the old Sony Atrac 4.0.
