Notes for Modern Day Buyers:
- This portable does not have DC-IN, for power and charging either the original sidecar or the original dock is required.
- A proprietary USB cable (Part# 1-824-647-21) is required to use NetMD, with or without the dock.
- The matching sidecar for this model supports power and charging via 6v (positive tip) DC-IN.
- This portable uses an internal li-ion battery that will most likely need to be replaced.
- Aftermarket drop-in replacement batteries are available that do not require any soldering, as well as an aftermarket USB Type-C adapter for the proprietary connector that will provide power/charge/NetMD functionality.
